A great big thank you to Mary Margaret, Charlotte, Sandra, Natalie, and Luke from the St. Dorothy's Guild. They came to the meeting and helped us make flower arrangements for our Forever Members and some of our parishioners who needed a lift!

Thanks to all who helped decorate, serve, and bake cookies for the Guild cookie station at our Corpus Christi celebration Sunday!! We had a LOT of visitors to our table and only around 4 dozen cookies left over (donated to the youth group meeting this week)! Our new Guild banner made its debut in the procession.

If you missed last night's meeting, you missed a fun time and a great speaker! Mary Margaret spoke about flowers and the St. Dorothy's Guild-we can't wait to ask her back-and we have new officers!

We want to thank Janice Anderson and Marianne Donadio from Horizon Residential Care Center for their program at Monday's St.Theresa Guild meeting. We learned about this agency that serves exceptional children and adults in two facilities in our own community, as well as their volunteer needs (https://www.horizonscenter.org/volunteers/) and some physical needs (https://www.horizonscenter.org/wish-list/). Thank you, ladies, for sharing the work you do!

At April's meeting, we collected filled Easter eggs that we will donate to City Lights Ministry for their egg hunt April 19 in Winston-Salem.

We had a great time today touring the many activities and opportunities available at the Intergenerational Center for Arts and Wellness on the campus of Senior Services. If you missed it, you are invited to go any Friday by registering at this site: https://generationscenter.org/virtual-tour-5/ Their goal is "to build a community that celebrates the value of all people at every stage of life by fostering relationships built on empathy and understanding." The staff is very excited to show you all the fun and educational activities going on every day!

We had a great time at the October meeting!! Thank you for teaching us a new skill, Nicole!! Forgot to get a picture of the finished cake--too busy eating it. It was delicious!!

We had a great time at lunch Monday and collected 186 books for the first grade classroom libraries at Bolton Elementary School.
