Have you ever felt like things weren’t supposed to be this way?

This Sunday, we begin a new series called, “Here as in Heaven”. Jesus’ favorite subject was the kingdom of heaven, so much that He preached it everywhere He went. On one occasion, He preached an entire sermon, showing what it meant to live within the kingdom of heaven; we call this the Sermon on the Mount. We are going to deep dive into the Sermon on the Mount for the next 16 weeks, looking at how we can live here as in heaven.

Unity is something that the world so desperately needs; unity is something the church so deeply desires.

Join us this Easter Sunday at For The City Church! We meet weekly at the Robinhood Road Family YMCA and would love to have you join us this coming Sunday, as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus. We have a great worship environment and preaching that is relatable, while focused on the Bible. We have For The Kids for birth through 5th grade children, where your kids will learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate setting with trained and background-checked volunteers.

On the final day of 21 Days of Prayer For The City, we are praying for Pinedale Christian Church in Winston-Salem. Let’s lift up Pastor Matthew and the staff team, as they glorify God by introducing people to Jesus. We pray for continued wisdom and favor to be a light in our community. Thank you for praying alongside of us for the city of Winston-Salem!

On day 20 of our 21 Days of Prayer, we are praying for Grace Baptist Church! We lift up Pastor Cletis and the entire Grace Baptist team, asking for more of God’s favor over them. We pray that they can continue to be a beacon of hope in our community.
