Our Bible studies meet several different days throughout the year at our Calvary campuses, in homes, and online.

What a gift it was to serve alongside The Pregnancy Network and Solus Christus during ServeNC Week. 🤍

From celebrating new and expectant mothers to spending time with women on their journey of recovery, we were reminded that showing up, encouraging others, and serving in simple ways can make a lasting impact.

We’re so thankful for every woman who served, and for the ways God is using Calvary Women to love others well.

📚 Summer Reading Spotlight

Our final summer reading recommendation comes from Lisa Gravely!

Lisa shares, ‘Joyful Surrender by Elisabeth Elliot is both encouraging and convicting as she explores what it means to be created, cared for, and called by God. Through Scripture, personal experience, and practical wisdom, Elliot shares wisdom on seven areas of discipline we often struggle with and reminds us that “Discipline is the wholehearted ‘yes’ to the call of God.”’

Thank you to every woman who joined us this summer. We loved sharing meals, conversations, and getting to know one another a little better. What a gift it's been to spend these evenings together.

As we head into the fall, we're excited for what's ahead. We have more opportunities to gather, grow, and encourage one another, and we can't wait to share them with you. Stay tuned in the coming weeks!

During ServeNC Week (Aug 1-8), our church is serving our community by partnering with local organizations across the area. We’re highlighting a few opportunities where women can come alongside ministries that support and encourage women in our community:

🍼 The Pregnancy Network
Help celebrate new and expectant mothers through a special baby shower experience filled with gifts, food, games, crafts, and encouragement.

🎨 Solus Christus
Spend time loving and encouraging women on their journey of recovery through crafts, conversations, and acts of kindness.

🍽️ Pivot Ministry
Serve alongside families in our community through connection, support, and hands-on service.

You're invited to When Life Hurts, a summer discipleship series exploring what Scripture says about suffering, discontentment, and lament, and how we can trust God through life's hardest moments.

✨ Annie Brown will be teaching the Discontentment sessions, sharing what Scripture says about finding true contentment in Christ.
