We are asking for urgent prayer for our Hope Church Asheville Pastor, Nathan Cravatt. Nathan just returned from a missions trip to Nepal where he was in 7 different countries. He is in the hospital and is extremely sick with kidney problems, very low blood pressure, and low platelets. The doctors are actively seeking answers. Pray for the doctors to find answers soon, for Nathan’s healing, and peace for his wife Carrie, and their kids.

The destruction and devastation coming out of Asheville has been absolutely heartbreaking. This tragedy has hit close to home with families of Hope Church Asheville being affected. We have a great opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus and show the gospel in the midst of such heartbreak.

When your family goes through a hard time you feel it. Today as we continue to pray for all those affected by Hurricane Helene we want to intentionally pray for Hope Church Augusta, Hope Church NRV, and Hope Church Asheville as both of these areas have experienced a lot of damage and no power. The power of a family praying can be life changing and we want all of our Hope Church family to be praying with us.

Has this week left you feeling anxious, burdened or overwhelmed? It is easy to become overtaken by the anxieties of this world and forget that our home is not of this world. Remind your heart today that Jesus still reigns no matter what you face. We are not left helpless in this life but fight from victory through Jesus!

At Hope Church we believe that Sunday morning service is more than a social event. We believe that the gathering of believers is where Christians are equipped to do the work of the ministry. We believe that we encourage each other through singing as one body and bearing each others’ burdens. We believe that we wage war on the enemy by worshipping our King and proclaiming His life, death and resurrection. We believe the local gathering of believers is a place for imperfect people to worship a perfect Savior- and not even the gates of Hell can stand against it.

Make plans to worship tomorrow with your brothers and sisters in Christ!
