It is our prayer, to serve in such a way that no one will feel left out, left alone or left behind. In July of 2019, Shouse Temple CME - a longstanding church - and TrueVine CME, a newly church plant, were merged together. Brown was appointed as pastor over this union, which is now known as “ShouseTrueVine” CME Church. "We are better, we are stronger and we are purposed to grow."

Luke 24:41: “Yet, for all of their joy, they were still disbelieving…”

Similar to the disciples we may be in seasons of life where we receive from God, but still not believe it. There were disciples who saw an empty tomb, received testimonies, had a conversation with Jesus, and even touch him. It’s not until your belief catches up with you, until transformation can happen in your life. Lessons from the disciples as they were overwhelmed with accepting the fact that Jesus resurrected:

1. They Received His Presence, Not His Reality
2. Thought It Was Too Good to Be True

But when Jesus recognizes their unbelief, he doesn’t walk away:

3. Jesus Bridges the Gap Between Receiving and Believing
