Fall Retreat was so good for our hearts. We’ll be sharing some of the words shared with us by our wonderful speakers in the coming weeks.

Tasha spoke with us about the danger of perfectionism in our relationship with God, and how perfectionism can hinder us in our purpose. Here are a few more questions she posited and points made-

Does perfectionism keep my faith small?

Can I be a people pleaser with my friends and family but be vulnerable with God?

Am I being delayed in my purpose because I spend too much time planning out every detail?

God is more intimately aware of you and I than we are of ourselves, so we can trust His word and plan over us.

We have to let go of mindsets and words that don’t align with who God says that we are, and release control to Him.

wondering what we’re packing into fall retreat weekend? look no further my friends- awesome speakers, inspiring worship, good food, lots of fun, connection with new people, and more!

saturday afternoon we’re gonna split into groups and head out around town, maybe hit up a bowling alley or putt putt, a coffee shop or bookstore, really whatever you want to do. it will be a great time to spend time with new people in our little city. we suggest a small personal budget for the afternoon… all other food and amenities will be covered by the $50.

invite your friends! and if you don’t already have a connection to Pursuit yet, we hope you will join us! we want to welcome and meet lots of new faces :)
