Did you know that in 2026 you can receive a Plenary Indulgence for yourself or the souls in Purgatory during the Jubilee of Saint Francis? We've broken down exactly how to do that in this handy graphic.

Happy World Marriage week! 💕

It's World Marriage Week. 💕💕💕 Here's a prayer for all marriages & families written by St. John Paul II (note: his parents' wedding anniversary was Feb. 10th and their beatification process is open).

Here's the prayer: "Lord God, from you every family in heaven and on earth takes its name. Father, you are Love and Life. Through your Son, Jesus Christ, born of woman, and through the Holy Spirit, fountain of divine charity, grant that every family on earth may become for each successive generation a true shrine of life and love.

Grant that your grace may guide the thoughts and actions of husbands and wives for the good of their families and of all the families in the world.

Grant that the young may find in the family solid support for their human dignity and for their growth in truth and love.

Grant that love, strengthened by the grace of the sacrament of marriage, may prove mightier than all the weakness and trials through which our families sometimes pass.

Through the intercession of the Holy Family of Nazareth, grant that the Church may fruitfully carry out her worldwide mission in the family and through the family.

Through Christ our Lord, who is the Way, the Truth and the Life forever and ever. Amen."

Ash Wednesday is one week away! This Lent, let Jesus speak to your heart and learn to hear him. In the midst of noise, to-do lists, and distractions, we all long to hear one voice above the rest — the voice of Jesus.

The Heart of Prayer is a free 8-part video series inviting you (or a small group!) into deeper intimacy with him, helping your heart grow quieter, more open, and more aware of how Jesus is speaking your heart. In the series led by Bishop Andrew Cozzens, you’ll learn how to pray with Scripture, enter into deeper silence, and recognize the gentle movement of God’s voice in your life.

This Lent, give yourself the space to slow down, be still, and hear Jesus. Whether you’re leading a group or walking this path on your own, Heart of Prayer is a gift of grace for your soul.

Pope Leo XIV has proclaimed a “Special Year of St. Francis” to commemorate the 800th anniversary of the saint’s death. During this time of grace, which will extend until January 2027, the faithful are granted the opportunity to obtain a plenary indulgence.

This Franciscan Jubilee Year, considered a gift for the entire Church and an occasion for authentic spiritual renewal, was inaugurated on Jan. 10 with a decree issued by the Apostolic Penitentiary of the Holy See.

Until Jan. 10 of next year, the faithful can obtain this grace under the usual conditions — sacramental confession, Communion, and prayer for the intentions of the pope — by making a pilgrimage to any Franciscan conventual church or place of worship dedicated to St. Francis anywhere in the world.

Furthermore, the elderly, the sick, and those who, for serious reasons, cannot leave their homes can obtain the plenary indulgence by spiritually joining in the jubilee celebrations and offering their prayers, pains, or sufferings to God.
