Great read and history into these 2 ladies that were world changers in their time and continue to impact the world today.

Did you know our North American and International missions offerings have been linked arm-in-arm since the very beginning? 🤝💙

In 1887, a courageous woman named Lottie Moon stirred a movement of generosity for the sake of the nations. Serving in China, she boldly called on believers in America to join her in taking the gospel to the ends of the earth. One friend caught that vision in a significant way.

That friend? Annie Armstrong.
Annie wrote 1,000 letters, mobilizing churches and calling people across North America to pray, give, and go. ✉️

Even after Lottie’s death, Annie wasn’t finished carrying her friend’s torch. In 1918, she recommended that the “Christmas Offering for China” be renamed to honor Lottie’s life and sacrifice. That offering became the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering we still give to today, an offering that continues to fuel missionaries taking the gospel to the nations. 🌎

Two women.
One gospel.
A legacy that’s still moving the mission forward.

And today, we get to step into that same story. 💙

Invite preschoolers to help you assemble cookie ingredients. Ask an adult to bake the cookies while you read Meet Lottie and Annie together. Share a warm cookie as you talk about Lottie Moon and how she told people in China about Jesus.
