Update on mom…Frances.
She had the transesphogeal echocardiogram and they shocked her heart and got it back into rhythm and the rate is good. They are giving her medication and other IV fluids to help keep it that way. They are performing a bladder scan right now to make sure her bladder is fully emptying and to ensure that this is not the cause of her current difficulty with UTIs. Her new doctor has been in and gone over the procedure as well as other concerns we have. Due to those concerns he has ordered an abdominal CT scan. Not sure when she will have that…with it being the weekend it could be tomorrow. Please pray specifically that will provide clear answers about our concerns and a plan will be established after to address those concerns before she is discharged and also that her AFib is controlled and continues to stay that way once she returns home. My precious mother has ALWAYS been so independent and thrives on doing for others. Since this all began she has not been able to do that and it’s been and continues to be very hard on her!!! We have seen all of the responses of prayer and love from my first post!!!! Thank you…thank you…thank you!!!! And keep them coming!!! Reading them has brightened her day ♥️♥️♥️

PER CARA...FRANCES' DAUGHTER THIS MORNING!
Please be in prayer for my sweet mama. She has been on a difficult road since July when this all began. Mom went to the ER where it was determined she had a UTI, pneumonia, and AFib. She was released from the ER with antibiotics to treat the pneumonia and AFib and the UTI. Since then it has been a whirlwind. We have been in the ER 3 more times and are now in the hospital. When we went for a cardio follow up on Tuesday, mom’s heart rate was way too high and her blood pressure was way too low. She still has the UTI. Needless to say she is not doing great. Since being her they have been trying to control her heart rate and rhythm with medication and have been giving her IV antibiotics for the UTI. She is about to have a transesphogeal echocardiogram where they will look at how her heart is functioning and shock her if they need to to get it beating the way it needs to again. There are some other things that need to be addressed but I will not go into specifics about those to respect mom’s privacy. Please be in prayer for her today. All of this has really taken its toll on her. Due to the infection, her cognitive ability is not great right now and she is having a hard time with memory, reasoning, and understanding. Please pray for complete healing and a return home soon!
