Today, Reverend Beck Payne shared on "From the Promise to Fulfillment." Speaking from Genesis and God's promise to Abraham and Sarah to have their son, Isaac.

Genesis 21:1 The Lord kept his word and did for Sarah exactly what he had promised.

Some great reminders from today's message: Don't judge God’s activity from what you can see today.

Faith is trusting God when everything doesn't make sense..

When we get tired of waiting on God we try to force it and get ahead of God. We are not to waste the waiting! Continue to serve God and continue living for him in the wait.

It is easier to testify after the answer comes. We live looking forward, but often see God's faithfulness looking backwards.

This week, we pray for those who are in the in between. In the season of waiting. May God be with you! May you have the faith and remember God hasn't forgotten His promises to you!

Join us tonight at Family Community Church for Wednesday Night Thrive Groups!

Dinner is at 5:30PM in the cafeteria, followed up by groups at 6:00pm for children, teens and adults! It is always a great time, fellowshipping together.

A great Back to School Sunday! Dr. Fountain reminded us: Your relationship with God and other people is crucial to you walk with Christ. May God help us to grow in wisdom, stature and relationship with God and man. In the morning begin your day in prayer for each face you will see that day. So that they see Jesus in you.

The service concluded with prayer for faculty, staff and students for the year ahead. May the Lord bless the year ahead in a mighty way!
