Our friend and co-laborer, Derek Claypool, who served for many years as pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Bemidji, has gone to be with our Savior.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 8, 2026, at Faith Baptist Church, where Derek served so long and so faithfully. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.

Calvary Baptist Church Rochester was privileged to welcome Darrell Friar as he shared updates from the MARBC - Minnesota Association of Regular Baptist Churches and Bass Lake Camp / Minnesota Regular Baptist Camp. The expectation is this will be his final visit with Calvary in his official capacity while serving in these active roles.

During the service, Calvary paused to honor and thank Darrell and Cindy for their many years of faithful service and investment in churches, pastors, campers, and the cause of Christ.
