Thank you so much for all of the new likes on this page. When we made the page, we were really hoping that people who had visited the site and had some kind of personal connection would find this page and share their stories. We really don't hope to encourage any new visits without gaining permission to be in the area. The cemetery and former Snow Homestead are incredibly special to us and must be protected. I am so happy that so many of you feel the same way about the "Hollow." Thanks again!

Some words about the Hollow from a wheeling site called http://www.fullsizebronco.com (because the Hollow is a popular mudbogging site)

"Believe me reading it doesn't even come close to actually being there on this one. When it got late at night out there all those urban legends about Brinsons Hollow kept coming to mind also..............This place has a spooky looking family grave yard, stories about people that survived a big house fire and still roam the hills out there, lots of weird noises at night, and a bunch of bigfoot sightings in the area." - User "2-1/2tonbronco"

Another post on Lewis County Buzz about Brenson's Hollow from a couple of years ago:

"it's Brenson's Hollow and yes VERY SPOOKY, my fiance and his friends (live at the property line) have seen the wizard, the silver ape with red eyes and the bloody kids' handprints......i so0o0o have to go to that place

The graves are from the Snow Family and you can't find the homestead cuz it burnt down, but i know that was built before electiricity 1809? (i believe) and people have seen a glowing light (like a light bulb) where the second story would be on the house. They've also seen the house there, and gone the next day.

There's also a story about HUGE logging equipment (escavators, etc) being turned upside down (no tracks to show it crashed or was pushed).....i HAVE to go there. i'm hoping to go close to halloween " - Member, Tawny84

I'm thinking this person was talking about Brenson's Hollow on Lewis County Buzz a couple of years ago:

"The real spooky graveyard up on the hill by Winlock. I have camped up there, don't know the name of the hill. Last I was there 3 of the graves had collapsed and one had with out a doubt been dug into. The story I heard was Satanists dug it up. Used to be good 4x4ing up there to. Also just over the hill there was supposedly an old farmstead house but after two days of searching I and 3 others could not find it." - Member, "GonFishin"
