“It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:25
What does Jesus mean by this statement?
Is God opposed to the wealthy?
Does He have a preference for the poor?
If it’s physically impossible for a camel to squeeze through the eye of a needle, what hope is there for a “rich person” to go to heaven? Is that really what He means?
And who decides what is “rich” and what isn’t, anyway?
Join us this Sunday as we conclude our series on the Parables of Jesus and look at Jesus’ view on wealth and the hope of both the wealthy and the impoverished in this world and the next.
We hope to see you!
