I am posting this per request of our pastor and my husband :
It’s Friday, but Sunday’s coming!

Romans 3:21-24 ESV
But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— [22] the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: [23] for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, [24] and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

Those who wish others to fail will absolutely hold onto your past.

My advice is “let them”!

The opposition that we, as Christians, face is not of this world, and it is high time we acknowledge that fact. The very next fact we need to accept is that the adversary will use certain and specific people and circumstances (even those close to us) to bring out our worldly side.

We must act accordingly. Sometimes that action is no action at all because we are right where we should be. Sometimes we must find out what part of the whole armor of God we haven’t been wearing.
Regardless, we must always be drawing closer to Christ and his influence by the Holy Spirit and the holy scriptures.
It is a personal relationship we must all possess for good guidance.

This world will hold your past until it thinks it will benefit from bringing that past back to the present. And since it may be brought up (especially when it is true), the rest of creation can see the work Christ has done in us. What was meant for our destruction becomes proof of our deliverance by grace.

God loves you. Seek the good in those you come into contact with, and when they attempt to strike you down, lift them up. Pray without ceasing and bear witness for the kingdom of heaven.

With grateful hearts and great excitement, New Hope Independent Baptist Church is pleased to announce Angie Lowry as our new Assistant Pastor, alongside her loving husband, Walter Lowry!

Angie and Walter are no strangers to New Hope. As longtime members of our church family, they have shared in the fellowship, worship, prayers, and many seasons of this ministry.
There is something truly special about watching God raise up leadership from within the very church family they have called home for so many years.

Sometimes God doesn’t call us to a new place. Sometimes He calls us to a new purpose right where He planted us! ❤️
As Angie steps into this new role of leadership, we are reminded that serving the Lord is not about a title or position, but about having a willing heart, a servant’s spirit, and a desire to see souls saved and lives changed through the power of Jesus Christ.
We are thankful for Walter and the love and support he brings as they walk together through this new season of ministry.
Our prayer is that God will continue to strengthen their marriage, guide their steps, give Angie wisdom and discernment in her calling, and use them both as vessels for His glory.

We believe that God has great things in store for New Hope Independent Baptist Church, and we are excited to see how He continues to work through the leadership and hearts of those willing to serve Him.

We chose not live feed the charge of youth pastor yesterday because we feel that is a time between God, them ,and their church family but I just had to share this small clip of what Matt said before it because I feel like it was really good and something everyone should hear .

A NEW CHAPTER IN OUR YOUTH MINISTRY!
With grateful hearts and great excitement, New Hope Baptist Church is pleased to announce Chath Morgan as our new Youth Pastor, alongside his wonderful wife, Chelsy Morgan!
We believe that God has a purpose and a plan for every young person who walks through the doors of our church. Our desire is not simply to have a youth program, but to build a ministry where young people feel loved, know they belong, and most importantly, come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
We are excited to have Chath and Chelsy be part of this important mission!
There is something special about a husband and wife walking together in faith, supporting one another and sharing a heart for the work of the Lord. We pray that God will bless their family, strengthen their calling, and use them in mighty ways to touch the lives of our young people.
Our youth are not just the church of tomorrow. They are the church of TODAY!
We want to raise up a generation that knows God’s Word, stands firm in their faith, loves without hesitation, and isn’t afraid to boldly proclaim the name of Jesus!
