With great sadness, I share a great family loss today. Mr. Samuel H. Myres was the husband of the late Mattie Ruth Brown Myres - granddaughter of John Jermaine Brown. I loved seeing him wearing a cowboy hat and a big grin at many Brown Reunions. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and 92 years young and we will miss him.

Please join me in prayer for his children - Donald, Vickie, and Sam Jr. as well as his extended family.

My heart is just broken. I only learned yesterday that my dear cousin went on to her heavenly reward a week ago. I am so very sorry to Teenie McCarty and Ruby's entire family on this great loss and I hope you know I would've been at the service had I known. I loved Ms. Ruby so much - as I love all of you. I hope she somehow knew how much I thought of her.

Family - please join me in showering this family with thoughts and prayers. God bless and keep you.
