We are excited to invite you to our Fall BBQ Bash on Saturday, September 12th! Join us from 4 PM to 8 PM for a fun-filled evening of delicious food, fellowship, and games for all ages. Including a corn-hole tournament & pickleball! We’ll be serving up BBQ Pork, hot dogs, brats, and all the sides. This is a great opportunity to fellowship with one another.

Bring your lawn chairs to relax by the bonfire and enjoy a wonderful evening together. We can’t wait to see you there!

Questions: Read 2 Samuel 21 and then discuss the following questions:
1. What does David do when the famine gets severe? How does the LORD respond?
2. Who were the Gibeonites and why was it such a big deal that Saul had tried to exterminate them?
3. What does David offer to do? How do the Gibeonites respond?
4. After the men are killed, what further steps does David take to bring about closure?
5. How does this difficult passage point us forward to Jesus’ death on our behalf?
6. Why is it significant that “David went down together with his servants”? (Compare this with 2 Sam. 11:1)
7. At the same time, what happens, and what does this tell us about David? (Verses 15-17)
8. Why include the victories of these other men? What does this tell us about good leadership?

Prayer: Lord, thank you for taking on my sin and dying on the cross in my place. Thank you for stepping in to bear the punishment I did deserve, so that I might live the life I don’t deserve. Help me to dedicate my life to honoring you in all that I say and do, in Jesus’ name, amen.

Whether you have been playing Frisbee your whole life, or have never thrown a Frisbee before, we would love for you to join us!

Suggested age is 12 and up.

Families are encouraged to come, and can bring lawn chairs to sit and chat with friends if they don’t want to play. The skill level is usually competitive, but all levels are encouraged to come and we’d love to see you there!
