Is the Rapture biblical?

When does it happen, and does it matter?

See the graphic here. Whether you firmly believe in a pre-tribulation Rapture, hold a different view, or have never studied the topic at all... you are welcome.

Maybe you're simply curious. Maybe you have questions you've never had answered. Maybe you've believed one position for years and want to examine what Scripture actually says.

Join us for The Rapture: A Deep Dive — a 5-week verse-by-verse Bible study as we search God's Word together. We'll look at key passages, explore different viewpoints, and let Scripture speak for itself.

This isn't about winning arguments. It's about seeking truth, growing in our faith, and being prepared for whatever God has planned.

📅 Starting: June 30, 2026 🕕 Time: 6:00 PM 📍 Kiwanis Club Community House 4603 Lions Park Drive Cheyenne, WY 82001 📖

Bring your Bible. Bring your questions. Bring a friend, bring your family, and come with an open heart.

Everyone is welcome. Whether you're a lifelong believer, a new Christian, or simply searching for answers, we'd love to have you join us.

This is one series you won't want to miss. 🙏

I encourage you to give special attention to the graphic here.

This is about Solid Bread Community’s 2026 Fall Bible prophecy conference, “Awake & Aware.” It takes place Friday and Saturday, September 11 and 12.

You may wrinkle your nose and think, “Oh brother, here’s that ridiculous fringe stuff again.” I know some of you well enough that I KNOW this will be your response.

Let me say something. If that’s you, then that’s too bad - you are losing out. You have short-circuited the things you NEED to be paying attention to - especially in today’s times.

Your danger is you’ve chosen to be part of a mocking crowd that 2 Peter 3:3-4 warns about.

You have failed to recognize that ALL of God’s Word reflects its Divine Author, and it is ALL intended to benefit you (2 Timothy 3:16). That includes the more than one-quarter of Scripture that is devoted to Bible prophecy.

Study that passage and others related to it. If you do, you will learn your dismissive posture indicates a profound personal spiritual problem.

Others of you are excited to see this event coming. You know the value, relevancy, and power of Bible prophecy when it’s properly taught.

I recently returned from speaking at Prophecy Watchers’ large conference in Colorado Springs. I had the opportunity to hear several of the presentations that some of these speakers will be giving in September at OUR conference in Fort Collins, CO. They are among the most riveting, powerful, and timely presentations I have heard in a long time.

I’ll be blunt. You NEED to hear them for yourself! They will grow you, change you, and make you a better person. They will help you understand things you did not understand before. Your spiritual ‘vision’ will improve, and your perspective of God will increase.

This conference is 11 weeks away. I encourage you to make plans now to attend. Tickets are selling online. You can get more information about our “Awake & Aware” conference by going to this link: https://solidbreadcommunity.com/conference-26/

If you are a pastor or Christian leader, you will do your followers a BIG favor by forwarding this information to them and letting them know of it.

In fact, I’ll be more direct: it’s YOU that MOST needs to attend this conference. It’s YOU that MOST needs to learn. It’s YOU that God has placed a greater responsibility on. It’s YOU that needs to be acting in a worthy and proactive manner on behalf of those God has placed YOU over.

James 3:1 says, “Not many of you should become teachers, my fellow believers, because you know that we who teach will be judged more strictly.” You wield a great influence on those you shepherd. God will therefore judge teachers of the Word for the way they cultivated the choices and attitudes in those they had aspired to lead.

Some studies indicate more than 95% of pastors today REFUSE to teach Bible prophecy. They may as well be garbage collectors that refuse to pick up curbside trash. What they are SUPPOSED to be doing is far removed from what they ARE doing.

That’s a tragic commentary on the spiritual welfare of the greater church. There is no "‘safety in numbers" here. “Running with the pack” and “going with the flow” is the riskiest thing you can do (Matthew 7:13, 21-23; 2 Timothy 4:3; Jude 1: 11,17-18; Revelation 3:14-20; Et al.).

There are multiple passages in God’s Word that not only show the importance of Bible prophecy, but the consequent dangers of deriding, diluting, and despising it.

Solid Bread Community’s upcoming conference, “Awake & Aware,” is designed to wake you up and make you more effective and enlightened as a believer in these tenuous last days.

Do something important for yourself and be a part of it.

This is the second part of a special lesson series called, 'Jesus Saved Me - Now I Have Some Questions.' We've learned, in our Thessalonians study, that Paul specified how these new believers' lives showed evidence they'd been 'chosen by God.' It's easy for us to fall victim to questions that plague us. Satan works overtime to keep our anxieties front and center. In Part 2 of this special lesson series, the very tough question, "Does God choose us or do we choose Him?" is unpacked. It's a tough issue that creates a natural tension, and it requires our absolute faith and trust in the inspired and inerrant Scriptures.

Join us online for the entire series. Link in the messages.

This lesson is entitled 'Present Clues of a Future Agenda, Part 3.' A key focus of this lesson is understanding how societies and cultures are being conditioned RIGHT NOW to buy into a 'powerful delusion' that will sweep the world post-Rapture. This delusion will seek to explain away the Biblical Rapture. We explore how this conditioning is even taking place within the modern church. Additional attention is given to how this conditioning is well underway in our culture, how the deceptive 'climate change' agenda will serve this future delusion, and how the tenets of globalism will appeal to the post-Rapture crowd that is left behind.

I feel very few people in the church really know what ‘demons’ are - and perhaps just as few really want to study the right way to find out.

Oh, they talk about demons a lot – that’s for sure. Some claim to spot them under the chairs, behind the potted plant, on top of the microwave, and in a can of beer. Still others blame demons for heart attacks, appendicitis, acne, and excessive gas.

Demons can cause physical conditions and sicknesses, no doubt. The Bible is clear about that. But it's not right to ascribe nearly EVERY situation which is the result of living in a fallen world or in our mortal bodies as being the activity of a demon(s).

It’s popular these days to credit demons for our natural sins and vices. For example, I hear folks talking about ‘the demon of lust,’ the ‘demon of jealousy,’ or ‘the demon of running late.’ These ideas are nonsense. There is no Biblical basis for them.

The truth is most people in the church have zero clue about ‘who’ or ‘what’ demons are, and most Christian leaders aren’t helping this dilemma. They simply don't talk about it, or they default to the errant notion that ‘demons’ and ‘fallen angels’ are two terms for the same thing. They’re not.

The Bible teaches very clearly that God created the angels, and angels (both fallen and righteous) can manifest in various physical forms. They can interact with humanity across the full spectrum of physical activities like any ordinary person might – but that’s not the case with demons. God did not create demons the same way He created angels.

Jesus Christ himself describes demons as restless spirits, cursed to wander in arid, dry, waterless places. Demons are under constant distress and thirst (Matt. 12:43-44), and they are always seeking something or someone to occupy and manifest THROUGH.

Demons are intelligent, powerful, malevolent, and deceptive. They are playing a role in world affairs now, and that will sharply increase in times ahead.

Demons are also influencing many churches – prompting them to teach things which are not Biblical (1 Tim. 4:1) and causing folks to ‘fall away from the faith.’ Believe me – this is a MASSIVE problem these days!

This coming Sunday evening (2/8), I am teaching Lesson #10 on our series, “A Biblical View of the End Times,” and we will be comprehensively unpacking this issue of demons. The things I’ve stated here only scratch the surface.

We will learn a lot - including where demons came from, what they can and cannot do, and why their activities have spiked at various points in human history. We’ll examine the relationship between demons and technology, and what this might mean for specific end times issues.

Want to attend? It’d be great if you came! Please invite a friend or two if you do. We will meet at the Evangelical Free Church of Windsor, 700 Pine Drive, Windsor, CO, at 6PM. I expect the Q&A time after this upcoming session to be rather lively. You might consider sharing this post.

For those of you that are out-of-state or cannot attend for whatever reason, this Lesson #10 of “A Biblical View of the End Times” will be uploaded onto our YouTube channel about a week or so after I deliver it. Go to YouTube, and our channel is under ‘Solid Bread Community.’

"As a local church pastor for the past 40 years, as well as a graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary I am keenly aware of the critical need for the clear communication of timely, uncompromising, and eternal truth. In that regard I cannot recommend more highly the ministry of Solid Bread Community. Personally, I have not found a more excellent and spot-on resource for followers of Jesus to be deeply immersed in the clearly presented teaching of the critical truths of God’s Word. This Bible prophecy series, 'A Biblical View of the End Times' is for truth-seekers. You will not go wrong in attending this series, and you will benefit from the outstanding teaching of Steve Schmutzer as he leads you through this critically important and timely study." - Pastor Rick Vannoy
