For 30 years, the Windsor Freedom Trail has honored the stories, strength, and legacy of African American history in Windsor. This September, we invite you to walk or run with us as we continue that journey.

Both begin at Archer Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church and include free swag and breakfast.

These events are free, family‑friendly, and open to all.

Back to School Sunday was a success at Archer Memorial AME Zion Church! 🙌🏾📚🎒
We blessed our community and in‑house families with backpacks and school supplies, making sure our students start the year equipped and confident.

What a blessed time we had this morning! Rev. Sharla Weaver of Metropolitan A.M.E. Zion Church, Hartford CT was our guest preacher, and God truly used her in a mighty way.

Her sermon came from Isaiah 60:21–22, reminding us that “In His Time, He Will Do It Swiftly.”
Her message lifted our spirits and stirred our faith:

1.God uses small beginnings.

2. God grooms you before He uses you.

3. God’s timing is perfect.

Archer Memorial AME Zion Church celebrates our very own Sis. Jennifer Breault!
On August 8, 2026, Sis. Jen preached at the Hartford District CED Convention held at Mt. Olive AME Zion Church in Waterbury, CT.

She delivered a dynamic and spirit‑filled sermon titled “Pass the Pen.”
Sis. Jen reminded us that in order to truly pass the pen, we must:

Believe and trust in God

Be empowered by the Holy Ghost

Achieve greatness through Him

We thank God for the Word, the messenger, and the continued growth of our district. Keep pressing, keep writing, and keep passing the pen!

Pastor Mo and the Archer Memorial AME Zion Church family extend heartfelt birthday blessings to Deaconess Shirley McKnight in celebration of her 80th birthday on Saturday, July 18.

We were honored to have her daughter Dawn and grandchildren Jiah and Natalie from North Carolina join us in worship this morning. Sis. Dawn ministered in song with the selection “My Help.”

Deaconess McKnight testified of God’s faithfulness through the challenges she has faced over the past two years and lifted her voice in song alongside Sis. Annie and her daughter Dawn.

We thank God for her life, her testimony, and her continued service.
