Our kids need us, and they need us in immediate ways. Once in awhile we lose sight of the fact that we love and meet our kids’ needs in the gentlest, kindest, most complete and appropriate ways possible when we are intimately close to the Lord and to our husbands. So pray, love your hubs, and you and your kids will love the mom you are ❤️ If things feel out of order for you please do not hesitate to reach out. You, your life, and your relationships should not and need not be chaotic.

As women our lives feel full, sometimes overwhelmingly so. A rightly ordered life will decrease the overwhelmed feelings because things will be properly prioritized. Yesterday we saw that God is first and from our relationship with the Lord everything else flows. After God our next priority is our relationship with our husband. Too often we take our husbands for granted, sometimes pain, misunderstanding, or disconnection has built up between us. We should seek to heal any pain or disconnection, even if it’s hard, even if we have been hurt. St. Paul reminds us in Romans 5:8 that Jesus died for us when we were still sinners. We must work to love our husbands well even when they are not perfect (and the truth is we are not perfect either!)❤️

We are all seeking peace, healing, health, happiness, and whether we know it or not, holiness (union with God in this life and the next). To attain that we need to order our lives rightly. First, we have to rightly order our relationship with God. From that flows everything else.

Far too often we as women feel like our lives are too busy, or even chaotic. However, this is not God’s intention for us. He intends for us to be at peace and to live and move at a sustainable pace. It is necessary for our hearts to be rightly ordered in order for our lives to be rightly ordered, peaceful, and to go a proper pace. Please reach out if your life feels chaotic and your heart feels out of order, or if you don’t even know how your heart is ordered right now because of all the noise inside or outside ourself. counseling
