FREE! Experience the music and cultural traditions of Colombia's Pacific coast at 6:30 pm on Wednesday, April 8 at Old South Church.

In partnership with Lebanon Opera House, OSC is pleased to host an evening of lively music and conversation with singer and educator Nidia Góngora.

Hailing from the Colombian Pacific coast — a South American region where African grooves and indigenous rhythms fill the air — Góngora is LOH’s Spring 2026 artist-in-residence.

The Latin Grammy-nominated artist’s music blends ancestral rhythms with contemporary sounds, evoking the thunderous powers that inhabit the jungle and the sea.

While at OSC, Góngora and her bandmates will share some music (which has been declared an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO) and engage in conversation about their homeland.

Admission is FREE and all are invited to attend.

PLUS! Góngora's Upper Valley residency culminates with a FREE family-friendly concert on the LOH stage at 6:30 pm on Thursday, April 9. Registration is encouraged at LebanonOperaHouse.org or 603.448.0400.

Easter week is here. Today I'm posting this coming week's schedule. Please note, for the Sonrise Service this year we are joining the Hartland Brick Church UCC and the First Universalist Society of Hartland for worship behind Mikes Store in Hartland at 6:00 am on Easter Sunday.
We'll be serving a great breakfast at Old South Church at 8:30.
Our Easter Service will be at 10:00. Please feel free to join in for any or all activities. We'd love to meet you!

Oh my goodness, I've been away and didn't get a post out about our wonderful Stone Soup Coffee House tonight! Please come in from the cold winds and rain. We'll serve warm hearty soups and home made breads from 5-6 for FREE! Then we dim the lights at 6 and the entertainment begins...as well as the desserts. Come for soup and bread and if you can, stay for the coffee house! Bring a friend, make a friend! It's time to get out of the house...spring is here!

Hey everyone! It's Karen from Old South. We've got a concert coming up on Saturday, March 7th(...it's almost March! Whoot, whoot!) Please join us! Everyone is welcome here!

On March 7th, the Vermont Symphony Orchestra’s “Skylark” quartet brings a vibrant and evocative program to Windsor’s Old South Church for a free and unforgettable community concert at 2pm.

With decades of experience in the professional music community, VSO colleagues Jane Kittredge (violin), John Dunlop (cello), Ana Ruesink (viola) and Ben Lively (violin/guitar) bring a rare blend of technical mastery, contemporary folk innovation and classical sensibility crafting performances that are full of energy, beauty and irresistible flair.

Influenced by the Nordic, Celtic and American regions, this eclectic program includes compositions by Bach, Väsen, Fretless, and Evan Premo alongside original arrangements by Ben Lively and the Danish String Quartet.

Presented by the Vermont Symphony Orchestra, Old South Church, and the Windsor Improvement Corporation.

This concert is free and open to the public--no admission or ticketing required.

Don't forget! Once you get all of this snow shoveled and need a break, stop for free home made soups and breads at the Stone Soup Coffee house tonight at Old South Church on Main Street in Windsor. We start with soup and conversation with friends at 5:00. Then, feel free to stay - at 6:00 the lights go down and the entertainment starts. This is an open mic coffee house - you may get up and perform if you'd like. Or just sit back, relax, have some yummy desserts and listen to the entertainers. We would love to see you!

Hi everyone! It's Karen from Old South. It seems like so long since I've posted...sorry. We've got our next Open Mic Stone Soup coffee house coming up! We'll be busy late next week firing up the ovens and crock pots! These events are so much fun! Have you go a talent? This is the perfect place to start. Hey everyone! It's Karen from Old South. We've got a free supper coming up on Thursday, January 29th at OLD SOUTH CHURCH!! We'll be serving from 4:00 until 5:30. It's looking like a Pulled pork vs good old pot luck. So far...pulled pork, baked beans, mac and cheese, shepherd's pie, assorted casseroles, coleslaw, cabbage soup, maybe some roasted veggies...it's pulling together pretty well, I think! No dessert menu yet...but it will be good! Can't wait to see you there! Everyone is welcome here!

Hi Everyone! It's Karen from Old South. I hope that you're all keeping warm and having some fun today. I'm headed down to the park in Windsor where there is a regular protest from 12-12:30. I am, as I think many of you are, devastated by what has been going on in our country and what is being done to other countries by us! This is NOT us...at least not my idea of America and democracy. OK, I feel better now that I said that out loud.
Tonight is our Stone Soup Coffeehouse. Free Soup and Bread from 5-6 followed by Open Mic entertainment(and desserts!) from 6-8-ish. Join us!
Between football games this weekend join us for services on Sunday!
Join us online or in person this Sunday, January 18, 2026. This is the Second Sunday after Ephiphany. Our worship service is at 10:00 a.m. with our guest pastor, Rev. Gabriela. Her sermon, "The Praise that Brings True Peace" will be preceded by readings from Psalm 40:1-11 & John 1:29-42
