Check out this 1991 story in the Orlando Sentinel about the Orlando Florida Temple. Some neighbors worried about the temple being built, and one group of neighbors even filed a lawsuit in an effort to prevent the temple from being built. However, the lawsuit was settled, and by the time the temple was finished being built, the neighbors came to love the temple. During the open house, a group of neighbors who had opposed the temple brought flowers and dropped them off with some temple volunteers to apologize for their opposition of the temple. They had come to love the temple and see it as their own.

On the second day of Holy Week we remember when Jesus Christ cleansed the Temple. In Matthew 21:12-14, we read that Jesus entered the Temple and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers. He then healed the blind and the lame who came to Him in the Temple.

The Lord cleared the merchants and noise from the Temple to keep it holy and free from chaos. In the Temple, we can find peace and holiness, free from distraction so we can focus on God instead of the noise from the world.
