Our Values:
We strive for our lives to be visual representations of Jesus. Mission:
We believe that God established the church in order to fix what has been broken; humanity’s relationship with God. The church is God’s instrument of restoration and is the hope of the world with all of eternity hanging in the balance. We, as the church, were assigned the mission of being God’s physical representati
on on the earth. We were also charged with the task of making disciples of all the nations. Therefore, we believe that it is our responsibility, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to flood the world with the hope that comes solely through a relationship with Jesus Christ. The mission is what binds us as we fight to advance the kingdom of God through love. Community:
We believe that the local church is the hope of the world. Jesus died and rose again in order to establish the Kingdom of God on earth; the church. And, like any kingdom, our unity is vital to the survival of its well-being and purpose. We are committed to authentic relationships that go beyond a Sunday service. Life is not meant to be lived alone, and we realize that Satan’s goal is to separate us from both God and people. We believe that God’s desire for our lives is to be an active part of the local church; each using his or her gift for the benefit of His Kingdom. Servanthood:
Jesus came not to be served, but to serve. In the Acts chapter 2 the new church served their city and became, what the author referred to as, ‘the favor of all the people.’ We believe that Jesus, the Son of God, served all of humanity as a way of life through love, compassion, generosity and selflessness; putting the needs and lives of others before his own, even unto death. Jesus gave us his own life as a model to follow and we believe that without a life without servanthood one cannot be like Christ. Intimacy:
At the core of every individual is a desire for connectedness with his or her creator. God created us to be in communion with Himself. This is why Jesus Christ descended to earth to be born, live, die, and rise again; in order to fix the relationship that had been broken by human rebellion. Personal relationship with God is the core of all that we are as we seek intimacy with Him in our daily lives. We believe that it is our responsibility to seek Him because He is already seeking us. Transformation:
We all have a decision to make; a decision to deny or to accept Christ as the giver of true life. Jesus came that we might have life and have it to the fullest. As we seek God with our lives, we believe that the Holy Spirit will be our guide as He leads us in the ways of repentance, hope, and discipline. We do not find an encounter with God to be something that happens and passes. We believe that God is using every moment of our lives to prepare us for the next as we strive to follow in the way of Jesus.
