Are your hands open? 🤲

What does it really mean to surrender everything to God?

It means living with open hands—allowing God to put in what He desires and remove what He pleases. Not holding back the parts we want to control. Not giving Him just enough while keeping the things we’re most comfortable holding onto.

Jesus showed us what complete surrender looked like when He said from the cross:

“Father, into Your hands I commit My spirit.” — Luke 23:46

There’s a powerful picture from the history of the Crusaders. As they were baptized, they would hold one hand in the air—symbolizing that they were committing everything to God except what that hand and their sword would do.

The question for us is simple:

Do we give God ALL of us?
Or do we give Him only the parts we’re comfortable letting Him have?

Open hands say, “Lord, it’s all Yours. You can add. You can remove. You can lead. You can change. I trust You.”

Surrender isn’t giving God some of us. It’s giving Him all of us.

✨ HOPE IS COMING TO NORTHEAST GEORGIA! ✨

This September, churches from across our region are coming together for Festival of Hope—four nights of music, community, and most importantly, the hope we have in Jesus Christ.

📅 September 20–23
⏰ 7 PM nightly
📍 American Legion Fairgrounds — Monroe, GA

🎟️ FREE ADMISSION!

Come as you are. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Bring someone who needs to hear a message of hope.

🎶 Featured artists:
• Sunday — Mac Powell
• Monday — Jordan McCullough
• Tuesday — Colton Dixon
• Wednesday — Jamal Roberts

• Featuring the Festival of Hope Mass Praise Team led by Juan & Melodee DeVevo of Casting Crowns

Each night, Evangelist Doug Elks will share a message of hope and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

There will also be giveaways, including a special student car giveaway on Wednesday night. 🚗

This is more than a concert. It’s an opportunity to invite our community to encounter the hope that can only be found in Jesus.
