🩷JESUS IS AWARE | BREAST CANCER AWARENESS MONTH 🩷
This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Jesus Is Aware stands in love, faith, and prayer with all who are facing this journey. We want you to know that you are loved, you are covered in prayer, and you do not walk this journey alone! We stand with you, believing that God is present in every step, every challenge, and every victory along the way. 💕
WHY WE WEAR PINK; THE STATISTICS MATTER!
We Wear Pink for our dear Sister in Christ, Cathy Smith, and so many others!
🩷Approximately 1,048 breast cancer cases are diagnosed each day in the United States, based on annual estimates that include invasive breast cancer and DCIS.
🩷 1 in 8 women in the United States will develop breast cancer during her lifetime.
🩷 Black women have the highest breast cancer death rate of any racial or ethnic group in the United States.
These are more than numbers. They represent mothers, daughters, sisters, wives, friends, and women of faith whose lives and families are forever changed by this disease. Awareness matters. Early detection matters. Support matters. And standing together matters!
TODAY'S WORD: “A CLOSER WALK WITH JESUS”
~Colossians 2:1-7
Rev. Lynn Hill reminds us of the importance of having a closer walk with Jesus. Colossians 2:6&7 encourages us to walk in Christ, be rooted and built up in Him, and be established in the faith.
What a powerful reminder for anyone walking through a difficult season! A closer walk with Jesus does not mean we will never face a storm. It means we have a Savior to walk with us through it. We can remain rooted in His love, strengthened by His Word, supported by our brothers and sisters in Christ, and thankful even when the journey is difficult.
As Cathy and so many others continue in the journey, may we surround them with the love of Christ; not only through our pink attire, but through our prayers, encouragement, compassion, and continued support. Let our faith be visible in how we love one another!
