Bethlehem AME Zion Church

Bethlehem AME Zion Church Rev. Lynn E Hill, Pastor Bethlehem A.M.E. Zion Church was organized in 1872. Zion Church served as one of the few black church schools in Barrow County.

The church was remolded in 1920 and was rebuilt in 1968 after the church/school burned down. We continue to spread God's word throughout the community with the hope of drawing more people to Christ.

Thank you to every child, parent, volunteer, donor, church member, community partner, and guest who came out to make this event such a blessing. Your generosity, encouragement, and willingness to serve helped make the day a wonderful success. Seeing the smiles on the faces of our children reminded us that when a community comes together in love, lives are touched and hope is strengthened.

As our students begin a new school year, we pray God's richest blessings over each of them. We pray each of you has a safe, successful, and blessed school year. We look forward to seeing all that God will do through you!

What a powerful and timely Word we received today from our guest preacher, Rev. Rose Williams of Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church, our partnering church!

Her message, "If Your Breakthrough Seems Far Off, Are You Looking in the Right Place?", challenged us to shift our focus from our circumstances to God's promises. Through Scripture, we were reminded that God's Word never fails and His promises are always on time. (Some of the scriptures were: Romans 8:37and Isaiah 55:11)

POWERFUL TAKEAWAYS:

*"God will take you from waiting to walking in your breakthrough."
*"Build your faith by listening to the Word of God."
