Yesterday, we celebrated Pastor Chip, but today we want to show a little extra love to Sarah Beth!

Being married to a pastor comes with unique joys and sacrifices, many of which happen quietly behind the scenes. Sarah Beth, thank you for the love, grace, and kindness you share with our church family. We are so thankful God placed you in ours.

And yes, Sarah Beth, we know you’re probably cringing at this post. But we love you too much not to celebrate you!

A faithful pastor does more than preach on Sundays. He shepherds, prays, encourages, challenges, and continually points people back to Jesus.

Today, we thank God for the gift of faithful leadership and for a pastor whose heart is to see people know Christ and grow in Him.

What if we stopped settling for knowing about God and started desperately seeking to know Him?

Not just His answers. Not just His blessings. Him.

The God who hears. The God who is near. The God who invites us to come boldly before Him.

Throughout October, we're turning our attention to prayer. Not simply as something Christians do, but as an invitation to deeper intimacy with the living God.

Because prayer isn't just about asking God to move. It's about drawing near to the One who has already invited us into His presence.

And we don't want to simply be a church that talks about His presence. We want to be a people who hunger for Him. Who make room for Him. Who seek Him with our whole hearts.

So on November 1, we're closing out our prayer series by gathering for one hour devoted to worship, Scripture, and prayer.

Not because we have everything figured out. Not because we have all the right words. But because He is worthy of being sought.

The Pumpkin Crush is Sunday, October 25 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.

We’ll have pumpkin carving, Kona Ice, pickleball, games, pizza, and of course the main event: launching carved pumpkins off the building.

He gets it. And He gets you
Jesus is not a distant God who watches human suffering from somewhere far away. He stepped into it.

He knows what it is to be tempted.
He knows rejection.
He knows grief.
He knows anguish.
He knows what it is to hurt.

Whatever you walked in carrying today, you are not praying to a God who cannot understand. You are coming to a Savior who entered the full weight of the human experience and meets you right in the middle of yours.

You don’t have to clean yourself up before you come to Him. Come as you are. He gets you.
