I attended last week's camp meeting in Anderson. Don't know if I can fully express my overflowing heart's experience. I noted on Wednesday evening that there was an energy in the air not experienced in previous years! Bill and Gloria Gaither penned a song years ago, like 40 plus years ago, which states "I just feel like something good is about to happen." This expression rang true throughout the 3 days! God is on the move in our Movement!! Anointed preaching by our preachers. Inspired worship led by our anointed worship leaders. And a house full of expectant worshipers.

Our Interim General Director, Brother Monte' Dillard, gave an inspired state of the church address!! His short tenure has been anointed of God. He is a servant leader! For my KY pastor friends and congregations, he will be with us September 17 & 18 at at our General Assembly held in Morehead. Mark your calendars.

There is much activity in KY this summer within the life of our Movement. We have camps in progress, camp meetings scheduled at Lowmansville, Clay City and Camargo. Close by in Cincinnati is the International Youth Convention. Make your plans to attend. If distance keeps you away, join us in prayer and online! God is moving in the Movement!!

Our summer camping season is upon us. Sr Hi camp is in session this week. Pray with the leadership that God will move upon our high school campers opening their hearts and minds to a call to ministry. Camp is full and the energy is contagious! Thanks Wade Calvert and staff!!

Over the next two weeks will be Jr. Hi and Children's Camp. Pray that God will pour out His Spirit upon our students. Our camp directors and staff are the best!!

KY Church of God Ministries is praying for all of you to be safe and warm during this impactful winter storm. I know that our congregations will not be able to gather in the church house for worship, but remember to take a moment to read God's Word and pray. Also check on your neighbors.
