✝️ Our church family is saddened to share that Pastor Bill Kidwell, former pastor of Mt. Zion, passed away on February 20, 2026.

Pastor Bill was greatly loved and made a lasting impact through his faithful preaching, gentle spirit, and care for others. In addition to his years of pastoral ministry, he also faithfully served in mission work in Russia and Ukraine. We are grateful for the years he poured into this congregation and into the Kingdom of God.

Visitation and memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Searcy Funeral Home and Crematory in Enterprise, Alabama — visitation at 10:00 AM followed by the memorial service at 11:00 AM (Central time).

Please keep Nancy, his mom and the rest of his family in your prayers as they walk through this season of loss.

Ashes will be imposed as we begin the season of Lent together — a time of reflection, repentance, and renewed focus on Christ.
