Dear Friend of P2P,

With a very heavy heart due to the Coronavirus pandemic Person to Person Ministries has cancelled the 2020 Hillsboro Family Camp. This decision was tremendously difficult to make emotionally, but practically the decision was made by factors outside of our control. Some of the considerations for this decision include:

· P2P cannot meet the state mandates for operating a campground due to COVID-19

· P2P cannot meet the CDC requirements to operate a First Aid Clinic

· P2P cannot meet the requirements for disinfecting

· P2P cannot meet the requirements for operating children’s and student ministries

· P2P cannot be responsible for increasing the risk of COVID-19 infections in Highland County by bringing in people from across the United States

· P2P cannot administrate the requirements for tracking everyone who comes to Restoration Acres during Family Camp

· Aside from a family unit in the same household, people cannot assemble in groups on the campground

More information regarding this decision will be included in the next P2P newsletter which will be coming soon.

It is exciting to announce that during Family Camp week (July 27-30), plans are in the works for an online CLASSIC FAMILY CAMP ALTERNATIVE in which messages, music, Capital Campaign projects will be announced, and connections with our Co-Executive Directors will be made! Details will be coming, so keep watching the P2P posts for more information!

We are sorry to announce that the Spring Ladies Retreat is officially Cancelled. Though we are sad, we continue to strive to make sure everyone is staying safe and healthy throughout this time.

With that said, we are also excited to announce we will be hosting an event called the "She Event" that will take place September 26. SAVE THE DATE!
