Plan to honor the life of George Taylor on the weekend of September 5-6. in Staunton, VA. This will take place in the form of a masterclass with Dr. William Porter, of Eastman, on Saturday morning and a concert, played by Dr. Porter, on Sunday. Perhaps you have some students interested in the masterclass?
Details are as follows
Dr. William Porter will play a concert in memory of George K. Taylor on Sunday, September 6 at 5 pm. The concert will take place at Trinity Episcopal Church, 214 W. Beverley Street, in Staunton, VA on the Taylor and Boody organ. The concert is free; a reception will follow.
On Saturday, September 5 from 9:30 - Noon, Dr. Porter has kindly offered to teach a masterclass at Trinity. Interested participants should contact Virginia Bolena, director of music at Trinity at [email protected]. There are currently three slots open.
