New class announcement!
We are excited to announce that registration is now open for a Tajwid class that is being taught by Br. Ahmed Mostafa. This class is for brothers only with limited seats. The only prerequisite is to be able to read directly from the Qur’an.

May 6th will be an orientation and introductory class inshaAllah.

There is a monthly payment plan and financial aid available

Assalamualaikum brothers & sisters,

Introducing our newest donation campaign! As mentioned at jummah, we not only have our Masjid construction fund but also a Masjid Operations fund. This Operations fund goes directly to the kids Halaqa, a youth Halaqa we are planning as well as any future community events and classes inshaAllah. This fund is also for any maintenance that the masjid needs. We have purchased a new sink for the restroom that will be installed soon inshaAllah.

We are looking for community members to join this Ansar/supporter campaign to donate $25 monthly to help support this initiative. However this amount is not a set requirement, please donate what you can inshaAllah, as this is an immense opportunity for hasanāt.

The Prophet ﷺ said that one of the seven types of people shaded on the Day of Judgement by Allah is “a person who practices charity so secretly that his left hand does not know what his right hand has given (i.e. nobody knows how much he has given in charity)”. - Sahih Bukhari 1423

Eid-Al-Adha announcement:

Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Inshallah we will hold our Eid-ul-Adha Prayer on Tuesday July 20,2021.

We will be praying at the Basketball Court of James R.Wilkins Jr. Athletics and Event Center located at 1188 Ralph Shockey Drive, Wi******er, VA 22602.

* There will be Takabeer at 8:45 AM, Please be respectful of the Takabeer papers and do not lay them on the floor.
* The Prayer will be held at 9:00 AM Insha Allah.
* Please make Wudu at home.
* The doors will open at 8:15 AM.
* Face Masks will be required except when eating or drinking. We will have masks available at the entrance if needed.
* Please bring your own prayer rug.
* The children must be with an adult at all times.
* After the Khutba everyone is welcome to stay for refreshments.
* Please bring your favorite light refreshment to be shared with all. Soft drinks and Tea will be provided.

Please refrain from eating or drinking on the basketball hardwood floor.
