Three graduating seniors were recognized at church on Sunday. Jaxon Roudebush is graduating from Indiana University and Marissa Perry and Hunter Hines are graduating from Winamac Community High School. Also graduating from college is Ella Hague. The high school graduates received afghans, made by Mary Rans, and Bibles. We wish a future filled with happiness for all of them.

Blackout Tints LLC. from Monticello came today and put window tint on our West windows. It will certainly help to keep the heat from the sun out.

I was fortunate to deliver the many hats, mittens and socks donated by the members of First Christian Church Winamac. We hope to help keep many children warm this winter. I delivered to EPES, WELA, Marsha’s Daycare, West Central Elementary, and Winamac Community High School. This was our Giving Tree donation for December. We took January off to collect our thoughts and will be accepting donations of something different each month in 2026. Keep watching our page for more info. God is good and we are blessed. Sunday, David and Amy Bailey and their grandchildren lit the candle of love on the advent wreath. It was beautiful! Children make special things even more special. We’ll light the Christ candle on Christmas Eve. All are invited to join us at 6:30pm.

First Christian Church is fortunate to have talented Mary Rans as a member of our church. She crocheted 91 hats for children in our community for Christmas. Juanita Marner, mother of our organist Deb Kauffman made 50 pair of mittens for the children as well. God has blessed these ladies with special talents and blessed us and this community with them.
