Thanksgiving Food Drive to benefit
Thomas Merton Family Center (TMFC)
Hosted by The Seat of Wisdom Deanery of the Diocese of Bridgeport
When: Saturday, November 9, 2024
From: 10 am to 2 PM
Where: Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton
Items Needed:
The Normal Thanksgiving Fixings Plus:
Honey - Brown Sugar - Cranberry Sauce - Gravy - Canned Yams - Canned Corn - Vegetable/Canola Oil - Chicken Stock - Turkey Stuffing - Cornbread box mix - Dried onions (for green bean casserole) - Boxed Mash Potatoes - Seasonings (salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice)- Sugar – Butter

TMFC is a soup kitchen and pantry market. We serve ~350 meals a day on weekdays (breakfast & lunch). Showers are open to our guests twice a week. Case managers provide individual assistance and partner with other agencies based on needs of the guest. A registered guest can receive up to 5 days of nutritious food for meals from our food pantry once a month. Vocational services, ESL classes, and more will be offered soon. Thank you all for the birthday wishes and prayers. I always knew I was blessed and loved but it is nice to be reminded. Aldo happy birthday to my fellow Virgo and big hearted cousin. Marilyn Norman who celebrates her 60 th today and is another blessing in my life. Thank you again and may God bless you all.

An interfaith gathering of prayer and healing in solidarity with Israel.

Temple B’nai Chaim and The Wilton Clergy Association invite our communities to join us along with local, state and national officials in an Interfaith Vigil of Prayer, Healing and Solidarity with Israel on Sunday evening, October 15th at 7:00 PM at Temple B’nai Chaim.
