Dear Hope Kids Families and Friends,
After 13 years at Hope Church, my husband as the youth pastor for those years and 10 years for me the Children's Director, we have both prayerfully made the decisions to move on from Hope Church. My husband will be retiring from youth ministry all together, with the hopes of becoming a senior pastor, and I will continue to seek where the Lord wants me to serve next. We have LOVED our time at Hope Church and we consider you all family. We feel very blessed by how we have been supported and loved by Pastor Don and the Elders during this process.
So you may be asking what this means for Kids Camp and other Children's Ministry Programs. I will be here and will continue to work and make this summer the best summer yet for Hope Kids! That means we will have an awesome camp and continue to have great programs on Sundays. Our last Sunday at Hope will be July 25th. I have full confidence that Hope Kids will continue and grow after my departure. One thing Hope Kids has always been known for is our team of amazing volunteers, and so many of them have already made it clear that they will do what they can to help with this transition. If you would like to help as well, please feel free to reach out and let me know.
In closing, I ask you all to pray for my family and I as we follow God's calling on our lives to go. Please pray that the Lord will open up doors for us. If you have any questions about this transition or about my family, or you just want to grab lunch or coffee some day, please reach out!
