One of the most revealing parts of the story of the woman caught in adultery is what Jesus does before he says, "Go and sin no more."

He first turns toward the people holding the stones. He calls them to self-examination before he says a word about her behavior.

I wonder how different many conversations would be today if Christians followed that same pattern. What do you think?

"Love the sinner, hate the sin" may be one of the most quoted phrases in modern Christianity, yet Jesus never actually said it.

I'm not arguing that sin isn't real. I'm asking whether we've become so focused on identifying what's wrong with other people that we've forgotten Christ's call to humility and mercy.

What do you think? Has this phrase helped the Church, or has it sometimes been used in ways that push people away?

I am so sorry I got emotional in this video, I wasn't expecting that.

But the more I reflected on the "Reclaim June" movement, the more I found myself grieving something deeper.

The Sacred Heart is one of Christianity's most beautiful symbols. A heart wounded by love. A heart burning with mercy.

So why are we treating it like a banner in a fight?

Watch the video and let me know what you think.

For me, this isn't ultimately a story about Bishop Barron.

It's about a spiritual danger that has existed for thousands of years. Prophets are called to challenge kings, not become comfortable around them. The question raised by Barron's recent comments is whether proximity to power can slowly change how willing we are to ask hard moral questions.

What do you think? Can religious leaders remain prophetic while maintaining close relationships with political power?

This week's clash between Pope Leo XIV and Peter Thiel isn't really about Tolkien.

It's about what kind of future we're building.

One vision sees human limitations as problems to solve. The other sees human dignity as something sacred.

And Tolkien's answer may be more relevant than ever: "It is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay."

What do you think is most needed in our culture right now: more power, or more humanity?

They left because they got tired of watching people use Jesus as a weapon.

That's why this Texas race interests me. It's exposing two very different visions of Christianity in public life, one centered on power and culture wars, the other centered on compassion and human dignity.

The political question is important.

The spiritual question may be even more important.

Which version looks more like Jesus?

A possible meeting between Pope Leo and Bad Bunny is drawing attention because they're such unlikely figures to see in the same conversation.

What interests me isn't the celebrity angle. It's the possibility of two people with enormous influence using that influence to advocate for migrants, workers, and communities that are often overlooked.

What do you think? Could a partnership like that make a meaningful difference?

American teachers spend billions of dollars of their own money every year helping students succeed.

The part that stays with me is this: many of them are carrying burdens that shouldn't be theirs because they refuse to let children carry them alone.

As Christians, shouldn't we be asking how we can help carry that burden too?

Who was the teacher that changed your life?

Former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy has warned that loneliness can be as harmful to our health as smoking fifteen ci******es a day.

That statistic is alarming, but I wonder if loneliness is actually a symptom of something deeper. We've lost many of the places where people once found community, purpose, and belonging.

Do you think America has a loneliness problem, or a belonging problem?

I love sports, including combat sports. This isn't really about UFC.

What caught my attention was the symbolism. The White House has traditionally represented public service and democratic self-government. Hosting a cage fight there raises questions about what we celebrate, what we normalize, and what kind of civic culture we're building.

Am I reading too much into this, or does the symbolism matter?
