WCC Uganda Missions “Truly, I say to you, as you have done for the least of these, you have done for me.” Matthew 25:40 WHO? WHY?

Wilson Community Church, alongside Amazing Grace Adoptions & Orphan Care (www.agadoptions.org), traveled to Kisoro, Uganda this past June. During the two weeks there, the team visited 18 different churches and 5 child development centers. They are continuing to develop a master plan for a “family” home (modeling a Christian married couple, a mother and father), they facilitated Bible studies to ch

urch members, lead music/worship workshops, taught Bible lessons to the children of the child development centers, all while walking the communities sharing the love of Christ to those who chose to listen! Uganda has the highest proportion of children orphaned by the AIDS epidemic worldwide. Civil unrest and the LRA (Lord’s Resistance Army) have added to that number, leaving Uganda with an estimated 2.5 million children who have been robbed of their families. Amazing Grace Adoptions & Orphan Care has met, and built relationships, with two Ugandan pastors, and they desperately need our help with the overabundance of orphaned children.
