🙏 Feast of Saints Peter and Paul — June 29 🙏

Today the Church joyfully celebrates the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul, two great apostles whose lives were transformed by the love and mercy of Christ.

🗝️ Saint Peter, the rock upon whom Christ built His Church, reminds us that God can work through our weaknesses when we place our trust in Him.

🔥 Saint Paul, the great missionary and preacher of the Gospel, shows us the power of conversion and the call to boldly share Christ with the world.

Though their journeys were different, both gave their lives completely to Jesus and became witnesses of faith, courage, and hope.

May Saints Peter and Paul pray for our parish, our families, and all who seek to follow Christ. May we have the courage to proclaim the Gospel and remain faithful to the Church they served so faithfully.

Farewell Celebration for Father Tony

Please join us on Sunday, June 28 at 6:00 PM at the Parish Hall as we gather together to celebrate and thank Father Tony for his faithful service, love, and dedication to our parish community.

This going-away party will be a special opportunity to share our gratitude, memories, and prayers as Father Tony begins a new chapter in his priestly journey. We are grateful for the many ways he has touched our lives through his ministry, compassion, and example of Christ’s love.

Fried chicken and mashed potatoes will be provided. Please bring a side dish or dessert.

This June 12, the bishops of the United States will consecrate our great nation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
That’s a powerful moment for the Church—but it’s also an invitation. It’s an invitation for each of us to respond personally, beginning right in our own homes. One of the most meaningful ways to do that is through the consecration and enthronement of our homes to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The good news is that this is something any family can do. It doesn’t have to be complicated, and it can happen at any time.

How to Consecrate Your Home:

1. Prepare your home and hearts
Choose a place in your home where the images of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary will be clearly visible. Take some time as a family to pray and, if possible, go to Confession beforehand.

2. Gather for prayer
Bring your family together. If a priest or deacon is available, you can invite him, but it is not required.

3. Proclaim the Word of God
A passage like John 19:31–37, which recalls the pierced Heart of Christ, helps root what you are doing in Scripture.

4. Pray the Act of Consecration
Recite one of the consecration prayers provided or offer an extemporaneous prayer from the heart to formally dedicate your home and your family to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

5. Enthrone the images
Place the images in their place of honor as a visible reminder that Christ is at the center of your home.

6. Live it daily
This isn’t meant to be a one-time moment. It’s something you live out—through prayer, trust, and the way you love one another each day.
