Checking in with yourself is just as important as checking in with everyone else. 🤍 How are you really feeling today? Not the automatic “I’m fine” answer — the honest one. Give yourself permission to pause, reflect, and feel whatever comes up. Your emotions deserve attention, not avoidance. Healing starts with awareness, and self-care starts with honesty. Take a breath. Rest if you need to. Reach out if you need support. 🌿

Sometimes it doesn’t start with clarity—it starts with a quiet thought: “something feels off…”

At our Anchor Family Therapy, we help you connect the dots.
From uncertainty → to understanding
From isolation → to support
From overwhelm → to hope

Because when what you’re experiencing has a name, it becomes something you don’t have to face alone. And when help is within reach, healing becomes possible.

May is Maternal Mental Health Month—a time to remind every mother (and those who support them): you are not alone, and you can get better. 🤍

If you’ve been wondering where to start, this is your sign.
We’re here when you’re ready.

Stress is a part of life, and earning to manage stress in healthy ways can help you feel more grounded and in control. Talk to a trusted friend or counselor, prioritize your responsibilities, remember the importance of self care and in meeting your basic needs, and keep things of perspective. Remember, stress is normal and our goal is to manage it, not eliminate it 🤍

Had such a meaningful time connecting with students at ’s Wellness Fair! 💙 Our team loved showing up, having real conversations, sharing resources, and creating space for students to pause, reflect, and just be—even if it was for a few moments in the middle of a busy day.

From therapy dogs and laughter to honest conversations about mental health, it was a reminder of how powerful community and connection can be. We’re grateful to be part of spaces that support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit.

Avoiding stress might feel helpful in the moment, but when we push it away completely, it often shows up later in bigger, heavier ways. Stress isn’t meant to be ignored—it’s meant to be understood. Healthy stress management is about noticing what you feel and responding with care, not avoidance. Try small steps like pausing to breathe, naming what’s overwhelming you, moving your body, setting boundaries, noticing where your body holds stress, or talking it out with someone you trust. You don’t have to eliminate stress to feel better—you just need support in learning how to carry it differently. 💛 anchorfamilytherapy
