Pi Kappa Phi- Zeta Tau, Barton College The Zeta Tau chapter at Barton College is the most diverse fraternity on campus. Official Colors are White and Gold and Blue is auxiliary.

The Zeta Tau chapter of Pi Kappa Phi started on Saturday, April 21, 1990, with 32 founding fathers at Barton College formally Atlantic Christian College in Wilson NC. Pi Kappa Phi was founded by Andrew Alexander Kroeg, Jr., Lawrence Harry Mixson, and Simon Fogarty, Jr. on December 10, 1904 at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. The fraternity has 142 active chapters, 93 alumni

groups, 21 colonies, and more than 100,000 initiated members. Pi Kappa Phi is the only Greek-letter organization to own and operate its own philanthropy, The Ability Experience, which works with individual chapters to serve people with disabilities.
