🧵❤️ A Ministry Wrapped in Love ❤️🧵
One of the most beautiful ministries in our church is our quilting group.
Week after week, these ladies pour hours of time, love, creativity, and prayer into every quilt they make. What begins as pieces of fabric becomes so much more—a tangible reminder that someone cares, someone is praying, and they are not alone.
These quilts are lovingly shared with people in hospice care and nursing homes, with church members who are ill or walking through difficult seasons, and with families celebrating the arrival of a new baby. Each quilt finds its way to someone who can be comforted, encouraged, or reminded of God’s love through a simple gift.
And while we are blessed to give these quilts, we are just as blessed to have the opportunity to make them.
The hours spent quilting are not simply hours spent sewing. They are hours of fellowship, service, prayer, and ministry. Every stitch is an opportunity to love our neighbors and share a little bit of God’s comfort and kindness.
We are so grateful for this special group of women and the beautiful way they use their gifts to bless others. Their ministry reminds us that sometimes the smallest acts of love can wrap someone in hope—literally.
Thank you to our quilting ministry for being such a beautiful example of love in action!
A special gift made with heart. ❤️
We’re so grateful to the quilting group at Exley Community Church in Wilson, known as “Pauline’s Girls,” for creating and donating twenty beautiful handmade quilts for Niagara Hospice patients.
Each quilt is thoughtfully made, with its own colors, patterns and personality - a special gift that brings warmth and comfort to our patients.
Thank you for sharing your time, talents and kindness with Niagara Hospice. Your thoughtful gifts make a meaningful difference to the patients and families we care for each day.
