Last week, our women’s group had the opportunity to meet with the new administrator of the Wilson Community Food Pantry. It was incredibly informative to learn about the many ways the pantry supports our local community, as well as the opportunities we have to serve and make a difference both individually and as a church body.

If you’re looking for a meaningful volunteer opportunity, the Wilson Community Food Pantry is currently in need of volunteers!

Our sister church has an upcoming rummage sale!

RUMMAGE SALE/BAKE COMING SOON!!!! THIS WEEKEND!!!!!
Proceeds from our sales help us in so many ways....
**Helps us support our Christmas Fruit Baskets, Operation Christmas Child, donations to Lockport Cares, Haven of Hope, Veterans Organizations, local food pantry support...we are also starting a new sewing quilt ministry to support newborns and nursing home residents**
Please come and HELP us support these organizations!!!!!!

There’s lots going on this weekend in the village so we wanted to give anybody who may be out and about this weekend a list of what’s going on!

1. Our rummage/cookie (cookies not pictured) sale at Exley runs this weekend. Friday from 9am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to 1pm. These sales help us financially support multiple missions throughout the year. The attached photos are just some of what we have for sale at Exley this year!

2. Yard sale at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church on Friday and Saturday from 9am to 2pm both days.

3. Plant sale at St. John’s Episcopal Church Saturday starting at 9am.

We hope to see old friends and new faces this weekend. We feel so blessed by the support of our community during our sales and are ever grateful that your patronage allows us to continue giving in ways more than we could have ever imagined possible!

We thank you for your continued support of our sales! It allows us to not only fellowship with old friends but to meet new people each year. It also allows us to financially support multiple missions on local, national, and international levels throughout the year. Some of the missions we have been able to support in the past with the income from this sale include, but are not limited to:

Supporting a widow and two children in India
Sending donations to: Lockport Cares, Carenet, Bella’s Bombas, Free Wheelchair Mission, and 8 Days of Hope. This past year we were also able to put money towards donating toys to Heart, Love, and Soul in Niagara Falls for Christmas as part of Toys for Tots. We truly would not be able to donate to any of these without the support of our community.

Our sister church, Hartland Corners Methodist Church is having a Chicken Barbecue next Thursday! If you live out that way or you’re looking for a drive and some dinner, they’d love your support!
