The Francis Asbury Society

The Francis Asbury Society The Francis Asbury Society is a fellowship of believers dedicated to exalting Jesus Christ

We are a society of individuals from all across the spectrum of Christianity who have fellowship around the message of a pure heart toward God, and pure love towards others. It has been called many things by many people throughout history: holiness, purity of heart, deeper life, entire sanctification, the mind of Christ, christian perfection, baptism of the Holy Spirit, maturity, total surrender,

and on and on. We like to point to the heart cry of Francis Asbury, who longed to see everyone in America live "wholly for God."

I heard two well meaning Christian leaders talking last night on TBN. One said, “How can we have righteousness in our life when we are so prone to sin?” The other said, “Oh we already have it. That’s God’s part: He makes us righteous. Holiness is a lifestyle of righteousness and that’s our part.” That is prevailing Christian thought. God makes us righteous and we work hard at being holy. Wrong! Holiness is God’s part too. Our part is surrendering self to the crucifying work of the cross and allowing the Holy Spirit to do in us and through us what we are incapable of doing. Anybody want some of that?—Bill Kierce

Friends, please pray for God's anointing and healing on Bill Kierce today.

He's preaching at the Bolivian Evangelical University on two requested topics, "Activity or Inactivity of the Church Regarding Gender" and "Holiness in a Leader's Life." He also has been diagnosed with bronchitis, which developed after he arrived in Bolivia.

We thank you for your prayers.

FAS has lost power in the building. All backup power supplies have been drained. No phones. No internet. No understanding of smoke signals. We’ll be back as soon as possible. Sorry for any inconvenience!

This past week Bill Kierce had the awesome privilege of preaching at Harvest Church -Dothan 2024 Fall Renewal Conference. Every year, this church of 2,000 people set aside three days in the Fall and in the Spring to seek God's presence and help people take transforming next steps with Jesus. They are not too busy to do this. They don't see these events as antiquated or irrelevant. And God meets them every time. What is your church's excuse for not pursuing God in this way.
