Weather Update: Online-Only Services Today

Due to the winter weather and snowy conditions today, Adult Sunday School and Sunday Worship will be held online only.
Please stay safe and warm, and join us from the comfort of home.

We look forward to worshiping together online this morning.

We do not have a worship service planned for Sunday, October 12 at 11 am, however, you are invited to an informal fellowship gathering, instead. During this time, we can spend time together in conversation and possibly discuss who we might feel led to include as co-pastor nominees for our upcoming business meeting. Wishing you a great day!

Reminder: we are not gathering for Sunday Worship on August 17.

As we take this time to rest and reflect, let’s contemplate the words of Jesus: “Then he said to them, ‘The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath.’” (Mark 2:27)

How will you spend this Sabbath? May it be a time of renewal, peace, and connection with God.

You are invited to experience this month's spiritual practice: "Deepening Roots"
A tree with superficial roots will wither during drought, or severe storms may uproot it. A tree whose roots go deep is stable and draws from deep waters. Imagine yourself as a tree by a river or stream. Sense your roots extending deep into the earth in search of God’s Spirit. Reflect or pray about what you hope to find as your spirit searches for deeper identity in God.

Reminder! This week, we are not gathering for worship. In Exodus 20:8-11, we are reminded to "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy." After six days of work, we are invited to rest and focus on the Lord, just as God rested on the seventh day. In place of Sunday worship today—spend time in prayer, reflect, or simply enjoy God's creation. As a church body, let us honor this special day as a time to refresh our spirits and remember the blessing of Sabbath.
