On October 24th, 100 CYM participants will gather and join the team Chaplin plus members of the Philadelphia Union for a pre-game talk regarding how Faith has impacted their lives as professional athletes. Following the talk, youth will have the opportunity to participate in a live Q&A session.

📰 Welcome to Craig Laskowski!

The Archmere Academy and Immaculate Heart of Mary CYM alum joins as the full-time CYM Sports Operation Coordinator — alongside Dan Pin, Zina Pressey, and Don Tees — to round out the Office for Catholic Youth Ministry and CYM Sports.

Craig will handle various systems and processes that keep our thousands of student-athletes, coaches, and families safe and moving smoothly on the fields and courts throughout all of our seasons, focused on schedules, large-scale events, and communications with local coordinators and designees.

Please join us in welcoming Craig to the team and back to the CYM Sports Community!

Congratulations to Lucian Knight, CYM Volleyball Official, who was named as a Commended Student in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Lucian has volunteered as an official for CYM Girls’ and Boys’ Volleyball for the last four years, dedicating over 100+ hours benefitting the advancement of volleyball in our region.

Approximately 1.3 million juniors from about 20,000 high schools across the country entered this year’s National Merit Scholarship Program through the PSAT/NMSQT. Of those students, only about 34,000 were named Commended Students for their outstanding academic performance.

The distinction recognizes students for exceptional academic promise and achievement based on a nationally applied qualifying score. Congratulations, gentlemen, on an outstanding academic achievement and for representing Salesianum at the national level.
