Our annual "Back to School Supply Drive" has begun! We will be collecting school supplies and underwear through mid-August. Everything will be donated to Claymont Elementary School.

You'll find a designated table in the lobby for easy drop-off. If you don't want to go shopping, you can make a monetary donation (a basket is on the collection table) and we will do the shopping OR you can place an order from our Amazon or Target wish lists (linked below) to be delivered directly to Trinity!

We had a wonderful week exploring the Nature of God at Rainforest Falls Vacation Bible School! Join us for worship on Sunday (at 9:30 AM) to celebrate this week in review as we explore the theme of 'PLAY' in our Wild Worship Wisdom summer series!

Twas the day before VBS, when through the church halls
Helpers decorated for Rainforest Falls

And I with my clipboard and a pen in hand,
Was reviewing the lessons and crafts that were planned.

A maze was created with the greatest of care
In hopes that many children would soon be there

The waterfalls shimmered in colors so bright,

Welcoming friends to five fun-filled nights

There are flowers, butterflies and lots of vines
We hope the children have a great time

The volunteers smiled as they finished each space,

Knowing God’s love would fill every place.

There will be songs to sing and games to play
We will make crafts and snacks and then we will pray.

We'll learn about faith and we'll dive into God's word,
Singing praises louder than any jungle bird.

From the youngest explorers to our teen leaders too,

There is a special adventure waiting for you.

So come join the fun beneath the rainforest trees,

And discover God’s wonders carried on the breeze.

With mist on the river and a canopy so green,
It's the wildest adventure that you’ve ever seen!

So, come children, please join me
On our rainforest adventure at Trinity

The helpers exclaimed as they turned out the lights,

“See you at VBS—it begins tomorrow night!”

Try this new faith practice this week and pray a Loving Kindness prayer. In both Hebrew (Hesed) and Greek (Agape), there is a special word for love that God has for all of us. In this practice, we don’t just pray for those we love, but for those we don’t like, or who are difficult people. Jesus says to love your neighbor and your enemy, to pray for those who persecute you. This is a hard practice, so start small. Pray for the well-being and peace of those who you struggle to like or love.
