The March Newsletter for Ohio's New Covenant Emmaus is online and can be found at www.ohiosnewcovenantemmaus.org website. Please make sure you remove your bookmark for the Wilmington site and add one for O.N.C.E. 🙂
A new page has been created and can be found at https://www.facebook.com/OhiosNewCovenantEmmaus. Also, new e-mail addresses will be announced soon.
The O.N.C.E. Board is working hard to get everything up and running, and plans are being made for gatherings to resume later this year. Hopefully, walks will be back in 2023.
Remember, it is going to take MANY Emmaus members to make our new community a success. Chrysalis Butterflies from our old "Faith in Flight" community, Greater Cincinnati Chrysalis (Milford), Southern Ohio Chrysalis (Portsmouth), etc. are members of all Emmaus communities. If you attended a Chrysalis weekend, Ohio's New Covenant Emmaus would love to have your help in growing our new community.

TWO PRAYER REQUESTS BELOW

Prayer request for Barry Hidy (Wilmington Men's Walk #19) and family
Info via FB post made public on 2-22-2022:
Barry is going home from The James hospital and choosing hospice care for comfort. The last ten days after his second (cancer) surgery has caused so much mental stress on his emotions and he wants to go home to be comfortable.

Prayer request for Pastor Joe Duvall (Wilmington Men's Walk #23)
Aaron Duvall (Joe and Peggy's son) posted Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022 --
"I know a lot of you have questions, and I don’t have a ton of answers. Here’s what I have.
It appears that Dad experienced a stroke this afternoon while at work. They are running tests and we are still awaiting results. Physically he seems ok, although certain speech aspects are slower than normal. Please pray, especially for dad and mom as they navigate this as well as Heather!
What do we need? Prayer for now. I’ll update on other needs as they arise."

We are now Ohio's New Covenant Emmaus, and the first "official" newsletter is online. PLEASE take a few minutes to check out the important information on the website's homepage and in the January-February Newsletter.

The new web address is www.ohiosnewcovenantemmaus.org and new webpages are under construction. At the present time, the familiar Wilmington Area Emmaus web address and the new Ohio's New Covenant web address will take you to the same website

Happy almost New Year's! 😁 Hope your CHRISTmas was blessed and enjoyable and that you celebrated the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The December Newsletter has been uploaded to our website. There is lots of important information throughout, so please make sure you take a few moments to read it. If you know a non-Facebook user who would be interested in the newsletter, please be sure to share it with him/her. As we get closer to resuming Gatherings in our "new" community's home at Grace United Methodist Church in Washington CH, it's important we all do our part in order to make this rebirth a success.
