Today’s scripture meditation verse is Proverbs 12:25.
Have you ever had someone say words of encouragement to you at just the right moment, words that stayed with you long afterward?
We are called to mutually encourage one another and the words we say matter. There are times you say things that you consider small but to the other person it was very important and carried life long impact.
The act of encouraging someone takes little time but has significant impact. Always be ready to give a word of encouragement, you may never know the tremendous impact that it can leave.
Think of someone you can be an encouragement to today.
Be blessed!

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Isaiah 41:10.
God’s hand of mercy is evident in our lives and He is present in every circumstance. Today we are reminded where to place our confidence and to give over our worries and fears. Take a moment to look back in your life and see the circumstances God has brought you through and develop a sensitivity to watch for His handiwork in your daily life.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Romans 8:26.
Do you ever struggle with your prayer life, not knowing what to pray for or being unable to focus well during your time of prayer?
Today’s verse reminds us that as believers we are filled with The Holy Spirit and we have His help during our times of uncertainty in prayer, He intercedes on our behalf in a deep way and The Lord understands it fully.
Do not become discouraged if you face difficulties during prayer, seek His help and He will guide you.
Prayer is a spiritual discipline and it takes time and effort to build the relationship with The Lord.
Be patient with yourself and be assured that He is always working on your behalf.
Be blessed!

Today’s scripture meditation verse is 1 Corinthians 1:9. Paul is writing to the Corinthian church to remind them that The Lord is always faithful despite their personal shortcomings. He provides a way back to Himself through prayer, trust and forgiveness. We are reminded that The Lord has called us to Himself and wants to develop a close relationship with Him and to become more like Him as we grow.
As we humble ourselves before Him and one another we become more like Him. He is faithful to remain with us in all seasons of our lives to develop our character.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Psalm 100:5.
Times change and people will eventually fall short and disappoint us, but the character of God never changes. We have complete assurance when we place our trust in the goodness of God. He will never turn His back on us when we fall short, He provides a way for us to be restored and refreshed.
As we grow in our faith our heart attitude changes and we are able to reflect on the character of God and give Him thanks and praise regardless of our circumstances. We know that Hod is sovereign over all things and His love for us endures forever.
What are you thankful for today? Take time to express your gratitude daily it is good to give thanks and praise for The Lord is good and His love endures forever.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Proverbs 12:15.
The Proverbs are replete with wise sayings that when followed lead to righteous living.
The foolish person ignores sound godly advice as they rely upon their own judgment not seeking wise counsel. In contrast the wise person considers godly counsel and benefits from it in ways that provide lasting peace.
Reading the word of God and filling your mind with the principles of scripture will influence your judgment and actions in a way that leads to positive change in your life.
There are 31 Proverbs and reading one chapter daily you will have read the entire book in a month. If you do this each month you’ll read it 12 times and will likely have memorized key principles.
Follow the way of the wise.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Ruth 1;16-17. Ruth declares a deep level of selflessness as she declares her intention to remain with her mother in law in dire circumstances. In those times a widow faced great hardship as she would need male connection to inherit property and do business to survive. Ruth was young and still had a good chance of remarrying;however she had great love for her mother in law and risked everything to remain with her. We see in later chapters that God rewards Rùth’s faithfulness through Boaz Naomi’s kinsman who married Ruth and redeemed her from poverty.
The level of total and selfless commitment Ruth had is an ideal we should strive for in our walk of faith.
How would you describe your level of commitment to following Christ? Are you willing to give it all for Him? This kind of commitment requires diligence and strong faith and a close relationship with Christ.
Be like Ruth in your level of commitment to Christ.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Psalm 103:12. This is a wonderful reminder of how The Lord has completely forgiven our sins and the weight of burden on our hearts. Satan will try to trick us into thinking we are not fully forgiven or that God’s love can fade, neither is true! God’s love for His children is unconditional and His forgiveness is final. We come to Him with a repentant heart and He forgives our sins. We do not have to work to earn His salvation, we merely need to come in faith and recognize our sins state and need of salvation and He grants it to those who trust in Jesus death, burial and resurrection.
Knowing this truth should change how we live our lives, transformed by His grace and free of guilt and shame. If you have placed your trust in Jesus Christ as your savior, you belong to Him and your sin is covered by His sacrifice. You will be a new creation as the old sin nature is replaced with the grace and mercy of belonging to Christ

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Proverbs 20:3.
The word of God is our guide to godly living. Solomon wrote the Proverbs which are rich in godly wisdom.
Worldly counsel would advise us to fight for our rights and do not let anyone to get away with harming us; in contrast today’s verse encourages self control and the avoidance of strife. A foolish person is described as one who continually looks for an argument.
Where do you fit in in this dynamic? Are you a peacemaker who demonstrates self control or are you a foolish person who seeks strife?
The Lord will show you areas of life that might need tending to and He helps you to mature in the areas that need attention. We can readily find out what The Lord has for us through consistent prayer.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is 1 Thessalonians 5:18. A grateful heart toward God is a choice we make, it is an attitude we cultivate as we come to know Him more.
When we express gratitude we are shifting our mindset to heavenly things and this is what makes it possible to be thankful in all circumstances.
Even in times of despair we can be thankful for God’s presence and His care for us.
When we focus our thoughts on what God has done for us it is impossible not to be grateful, for we would be nothing apart from Him.
Take time each day to reflect on the goodness of God and a thankful spirit will emerge.
