Today’s scripture meditation verse is Hebrews 3:15.
This verse is reminding us of the need for immediate obedience when we receive word from God. If we delay it, ignore it or choose to disobey it our hearts become hardened over time. When a believer’s heart becomes hardened it is very difficult to hear the word of God.
Our spiritual life needs constant nourishment of God’s word and time in prayer. If we neglect our spiritual health the consequences of a hard heart will take hold in our lives and we will miss the blessings God has for our lives.
Do not become complacent in your faith, it is a journey and requires close attention and maintenance.
Keep your heart healthy and soft for God and He will do great things in and through you.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Proverbs 27:9.
God gives us many gifts and one of the most precious gifts is that of friendship. A godly friendship brings great comfort to our lives. We are not meant to be lone rangers in this life. A godly friend will support your spiritual journey and give wise counsel when needed. Much more can be accomplished in life when we work together.
Pray for The Lord to bring godly friends into your life and enjoy sweet fellowship.

Today’s scripture meditation passage is Proverbs 7:1-3. This passage is the imparting of godly wisdom. We are warned to read the words of scripture, guard our minds, obey the commandments from the word.
When we set out to listen to God and trust Him and decide to obey and follow His word we are counted as wise and will find blessings. The opposite reactions such as rejection of the word, disobedience to the word and doubt will lead to folly and severe consequences.
Staying in the word of God daily will reap rewards that will strengthen your relationship with God .
It is important to recognize our individual responsibility to nourish our relationship with God and to guard it and watch our spiritual growth blossom.
Are you walking wisely? Are you growing stronger spiritual lives with each passing year? It is never too late to shift your focus back to God.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Psalm 20:7.
Do you place your hope and trust in the seen things of this world? The truth is many of us worry about world circumstances more than we should and tend to rely on our own resources rather than placing our trust in The Lord.
Pray and meditate upon Psalm 20 with specific concentration on verses 7-8 and pray for strength to endure whatever difficulties you are facing and ask for The Lord to build your trust in Him and give you a discerning spirit. As you put this way of thinking into practice your mind will shift toward trusting The Lord concerning your circumstances.

Today’s scripture meditation passage is John 10:7-10. Jesus is explaining salvation to the religious leaders using the analogy of a shepherd with his sheep. Sheep are completely dependent upon their shepherd, they are trusting and obedient to their shepherd. They will enter the gate only meant for them. The shepherd is their protector against many predators.
In the analogy , Jesus is referring to false teachers and leaders that lead people away from God. Jesus is noting He is the only gate that leads to salvation.
Jesus is noting that trusting in Him and following Him leads to salvation, peace and joy in relationship with God.
There is only one gate(Jesus) that leads to salvation. Do not be deceived by the various thieves and robbers that will try to lead you astray.
Choose Jesus and enjoy the abundance of spiritual joy that comes from a relationship with Him.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Philippians 2:13. We are empowered by The Lord to do the things He calls us to do. He plants the desire in our hearts to be favorable to the things He has in store for our lives. We don’t have to rely on our own willpower, He plants desires in our hearts and then strengthens us to act on His plans.
We actually get in the way of ourselves when we try to operate in our own strength.
Learning to listen to the prompting of The HolySpirit and taking action on those prompts will lead to alignment with the will of The Lord and will bring forth blessings.

Today’s scripture meditation passage is Isaiah 25:8-9. The prophet speaks of chaos and societal decay that the people felt would lead to their destruction. Isaiah prophesied that The Lord would be their savior and have dominion over the evil that leads to despair and death.
This message has given many generations hope ever since. Though evil forces may seem to have the upper hand in this world, we know that victory is found in salvation through Jesus. We know that we have the hope of eternal life and will never know anymore sorrow and pain.
When the world seems to be out of control and things look bleak in society, call to mind this passage to be reminded of the hope we have in Jesus.
Do not despair for we have victory in Jesus. The day will come when He will return and swallow up death for all time.

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Psalm 56:3.
Fear is a normal human emotion, sometimes fear can save you from calamity because it motivates you to get away from danger.
Fear in excess is not good for us, it divides our minds and potentially stops us from doing what The Lord calls us to do. A more healthy response to fear is drawing near to The Lord and placing our trust in Him.
It is good to identify our fears so we can face them and be victorious over them. The Lord is always present and desires a relationship with us.
Choose faith over fear

Today’s scripture meditation verse is Joshua 1:9.
The Lord is our strength and He is always present in our lives, He will give us the courage we need to face the challenges of life; our part is to trust Him and call upon Him.
The more familiar we are with The Lord, the more readily we see His handiwork in our lives. As our relationship with Him grows deeper our discernment increases.
The Lord’s protection is evident throughout scripture and it is helpful to read the verses and call to mind the different events that occurred. Just like Joshua was reminded of The Lord’s presence and protection as he entered into the new territory, so we have the same as we face new challenges.
Be courageous and confident in The Lord!
