Oblates of St. Francis de Sales

Oblates of St. Francis de Sales We value our participation in Christian Education, Missions, and other Pastoral Ministries.

Following the example of St Francis de Sales, we are a Catholic religious community of Oblate priests and brothers spreading Salesian Spirituality and the teachings to "live Jesus" every day! As Catholic humanists, we believe in the dignity, worth and responsible liberty of each person and we try to approach each person in a gentle and humble way while fostering peace and justice in the world comm

unity. Disclaimer: We promote and encourage engagement from our community and followers. However, we reserve the right to delete comments or posts that we deem abusive, inflammatory or otherwise inappropriate.

The cardiac muscle exists only in the human heart. One fascinating characteristic that it does not fatigue. In the Incarnation, Jesus shares with us a human heart. A heart fashioned to beat without ceasing. How can we work to put our hope in the Sacred Heart, where love never grows weary... Read more in "Cardiac Muscle" by Fr. "Leonard 'is quite a legend to say the least,' Desiree Disney, vice principal at OMC, said. 'He doesn’t just teach academics. He teaches what it’s like to be a decent human being and how to contribute to society in a meaningful way. That type of education and learning is absolutely priceless.'

Yesterday, U.S. bishops consecrated America to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The Sacred Heart of Jesus reminds us of God’s love and mercy for humanity. Salesian Spirituality teaches that devotion is the human heart longing to beat in rhythm with the heart of God, in “heart to heart” communication. Thus, the Oblates strive to “Live Jesus” as portrayed in the Gospel of Matthew: “Learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart.”
