Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers of all ages. I pray today has been as wonderful for you as it has been for me. In fact, the whole weekend has been great. I was blessed to have a visit from both of my children though it was at different times. It is difficult to coordinate schedules sometimes.
Through my happy tears today, I am reminded of those moms who are shedding tears of sadness. Yes, not every mother has had the benefit of hugging their child/children today as I was able to do. There are those moms who have lost a child by overdose, murder, accident, SIDs, miscarriage or sickness. It doesn’t matter was caused the loss, their loss still hurts. It takes a long time to overcome their loss. There are those mothers who haven’t talked with their child in years because their child chose to walk away from the family to live the life they wanted with out restrictions or rules. We need to be mindful of our friends during this time. For every mom who shed happy tears, there was a mom who was shedding sad tears.
We cannot fix our children; but we know the one who can. Yes, only Jesus Christ can fix them. So, what is your job? Your job is to pray for Jesus Christ to reach them.
