St. Stephen's Wilmington Delaware

St. Stephen's Wilmington Delaware St. Stephen's is a congregation of the ELCA. Holy Communion: Sunday 9:30 am in-person and livestream We seek racial equality and justice.

As a Reconciling in Christ congregation of the ELCA, we believe that the gospel is God's gift to all people, shared unconditionally and without regard to race, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, socio-economic or family status, age, physical or mental abilities, outward appearance, or religious affiliation. In this way, we live into the truth written in Ephesians (2:14) - that Christ breaks down the dividing walls between us and makes us one.

We welcomed spring by joining hundreds of volunteers to plant beach grass on the dunes along the Delaware coast. The weather was spectacular and the work rewarding. You should come with us next year!

Huge thanks to the sophomores from Ursuline Academy! 👏

We had the pleasure of hosting 10th graders this morning as part of their sophomore retreat. These students jumped right in to help us serve our neighbors:
• Jenni and Dani did a wonderful job serving our clients directly.
• Olivia, Emma and Caroline kept things moving behind the scenes packing groceries.

We are so grateful for your hard work and your commitment to service! 🎒✨

Not even 6-degree weather could stop this crew! ❄️🧤

A massive thank you to Greg, Kevin, and Bella for braving the freezing cold this morning to unload USDA food pallets. It was a true team effort, and because of their hard work, our shelves are stocked and ready to serve our neighbors. We are so lucky to have volunteers who show up no matter the forecast!

Our hearts are full! A huge thank you to the team at SPI Pharma for their incredible generosity. As part of their Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service, they hand-assembled 25 care kits filled with essentials like socks, toiletries, and water.

It’s local partners like these that help us keep our community cared for and comfortable. We are so grateful for your support! ❤️
