September Prayer call

Good evening Praying Mothers,

I hope you are all doing well. It seems that we have not been together for a very long time. We missed our usual meeting time due to the Labor day holiday in the United States. I trust that you all had a restful time and were able to enjoy your friends and families.

I am sure all of our school and college aged children are now back in school and you are happy or you are wondering where did the time go? Either way we continue to trust God for their guidance and protection.

Please join me tomorrow evening Monday September 14th at 8pm, for our time of corporate praise to God and intercessory prayer for our children. I look forward to praying with all of you and as a reminder you are so very special and loved.

August Prayer Session

Good night Praying Mothers,

I hope you are all doing well. I do trust that you all had a break from that intense heat you were experiencing at the start of summer. The weather is hot here in Jamaica also, but there is always a breeze and it is therefore not as miserable as it could be.

August 1st we celebrated emancipation day here in Jamaica and on Thursday August 6th we will be celebrating our 64th year of Independence. To God be all the Glory for the great things He has done.

Please join me tomorrow evening Monday August 3rd at 8pm, for our scheduled time of corporate praise to God and intercessory prayer for our children. I look forward to praying with all of you and as a reminder you are so very special and loved.

God bless,

Vilma

July Prayer Session

Good evening Praying Mothers,

I hope you all had a great 4th of July. I heard that some of the festivities were postponed due to the weather. I miss being in on the celebrations, but nevertheless Happy belated birthday.
I spent my weekend volunteering with "Hands International" and "All Kare Wellness foundation" doing medical care, prayer ministry and helping with distribution of care packages. Yes, it has already been 8 months since the hurricane hit the island, but there are people still in need. It was a very busy weekend, but very rewarding.

I continue to be amazed at God's goodness and mercy especially at the times when I am undeserving. God is good and is worthy of our praise not just because of what He does, but more so for who He is. How is the summer going with your younger ones out of school? Enjoy them!

Please join me tomorrow evening Monday July 6th at 8pm, for our scheduled time of praise and intercessory prayer for our children. As we prepare for our time together- please spend a few quiet moments before the Lord and see what happens.

God bless you abundantly- see you tomorrow and invite another mother won't you?

January Prayer Session

Hello Prayer warriors,

Happy New Year to everyone. I trust you are all doing well and looking forward to 2026. I don’t know about you, but it appears that 2025 has gone by so quickly. I am sure that there were some personal goals that you had which were not realized. There were expectations you had for your children, young or older which you did not see come to pass. Some of us may have had some unexpected challenges where we thought, surely this one is going to take me out, but you survived. For some there were disappointments, others had some good things happening that brought us joy. Overall, we can say we made it through- some may be a little battered and bruised, but we crossed over- Praise the Lord! As we look towards this New Year, full of unknowns and uncertainties, let us remember one thing- The God who brought you through 2025, is the same God who is ready to walk with you through 2026. This is reassuring and because of this fact I will not fear, neither should you.

I am inviting you to join me tomorrow evening, Monday January 5th at 8pm for our first session of 2026, praying for our children. Let us start the new year right. Let us declare some things for our family and watch it come to pass. Job 22:28 reminds us Thou shalt also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways.

God bless you abundantly- see you tomorrow and invite another mother.
