September is World Alzheimer’s Month, an international campaign to raise dementia awareness and challenge stigma. Each year, Alzheimer and dementia associations, alongside all those involved in the treatment, care and support of people living with dementia, from around the world unite to organize advocacy and information provision events, as well as Memory Walks and fundraising days.

We are grateful for our building partner, COMPASS Dementia Care. Their program provides a holistic approach to dementia care and support for families throughout Delaware and the surrounding region. for more information, please visit their website:

On Friday, September 11, at 9:00 AM, Aldersgate will host a Service of Remembrance marking the 25th anniversary of the September 11 attacks. As we pause to remember and honor those impacted, we invite our community to come together in reflection, prayer, and hope. The service is open to all. Please share this opportunity with family, friends, and neighbors who may find comfort in gathering with others during this time of remembrance.

Join us in worship tomorrow as Pastor Wendy continues the sermon series, Lessons from the Truck Stop: Eternal Life.
And a reminder we are having our Cards of Caring after worship in Fellowship Hall. We are going to create handmade cards for our homebound members and friends. All ages are welcome, and no artistic experience is needed. Supplies will be provided. Help us share God's love and brighten someone's day with a simple card of encouragement.
